UPCP-AAPS-IVRDT Outreach Community Webinar Series

We would like to invite everyone to the the  three-day webinar series organized by the UP College of Pharmacy and co-hosted with the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists – In Vitro Release and Dissolution Testing (AAPS-IVRDT) Outreach Community, to be held on February 22, 23, and 24, 2023 via Zoom platform.  These three half-day webinars have FREE REGISTRATION and with applied CPD units for pharmacists.

The theme of the webinar series is entitled, “Approaches, Regulatory Challenges, and Advances in Bioequivalence, Dissolution Testing, and Biowaivers.”  Pharmacists from the pharmaceutical industry, academe, research, regulatory affairs, even hospitals, the Philippine FDA and DOH will find the topics in this webinar  interesting and very relevant and beneficial to pharmacists and to their pharmacy practice.

The webinar aims to:

• discuss the use of dissolution testing as a tool for Quality Control and drug development in bioequivalence and bioavailability studies and in biowaivers.

• explain new regulatory information on dissolution testing, BA/BE studies and biowaivers and the challenges encountered in generic drug registration using these methods.

• describe recent advances in research and the application of dissolution testing, BA/BE studies and the use of biowaivers.

• develop networking for research collaboration, knowledge sharing, education, and industry exchange in dissolution, biowaiver, and bioequivalence topics.
