Structure Elucidation

This molecular model showcases the structure of phaeanthine fragment, a tertiary alkaloid isolated by Dr. Alfredo Santos and Gertrudes Aguilar-Santos from Kalimatas tree (Phaeantus ebracteolatus). This compound and its derivatives were found to exhibit antineoplastic, antiviral, antihypertensive, and antimalarial activities.
