Reflux: Presented here is a microscale reflux distillation apparatus. Similar to Soxhlet extraction, reflux distillation also involves continuous extraction using a smaller quantity of solvent. These glasswares were available since 1934, and were used in undergraduate organic synthesis experiments until early 2000.
